I’ve always believed that life moves just a little too fast, but taking a picture has a wonderful way of making everything stand still. For me, picking up a camera isn't just about making art; it’s about finding a quiet moment in a busy world, sharing the simple beauty around us, offering a moment of calm, and hopefully a smile.

That habit of looking closely at the world started early for me. I was only three when I first picked up a real camera. While most kids my age were playing with blocks, I was already fascinated by natural compositions I saw around me and the quiet story behind every scene.

Being influenced throughout my whole life by my interactions with nature, animals, and the teachings of Amish and Indigenous friends gave me a deep appreciation for simplicity and patience.

Not only did I start taking aesthetic photos at a young age, I was also born with an entrepreneurial aspiration. This led me to start Chickapea Farms in 2006, when I was just five years old. Over the years, Chickapea Farms grew from local roots to a nationwide presence, supplying retail locations and serving as an anchor vendor at many nationally acclaimed expos, festivals, and events.

This presence allowed me to literally meet hundreds of thousands of people face-to-face to share my story and to listen to theirs, deeply reinforcing my perspective as an artist.

Today, the core philosophy behind Chickapea Farms and my photography remains the same: Slow down, honor the natural process, respect the subject, capture the authentic beauty in the world, and connect us one click at a time!

My second lifelong passion project:

Chickapea Farms, Artisan products that heal Mother Earth and bring ease to a green lifestyle.
